IES Communications Data Breach

IES Communications, LLC (“COMM”) recently identified a data breach that exposed sensitive employee data. If you currently or previously worked for IES or any of its affiliates, your personal information may be at risk. Cyberattack Targeted IES Communications Systems
On March 17, 2025, cybercriminals launched a ransomware attack against IES Communications’ IT infrastructure. Their goal was to disrupt operations and demand a ransom payment. IES immediately stopped the threat, secured its systems, and launched a full cybersecurity investigation.
By June 6, 2025, investigators confirmed that hackers may have accessed files containing employee personally identifiable information (PII).

What Information was taken?
The attackers may have accessed the following personal details:
Full legal name
Date of birth
Home address
Payroll and employment records
Social Security Number (SSN)
Additional identifying details
So far, IES has not detected any misuse of this data. However, the data security investigation remains ongoing.
